Small Town Diner
On the Main Street in Osage there is a little cafe diner that welcomes people of all ages. Open for breakfast and lunch, they serve homestyle meals for your nourishment. Hot coffee, farm fresh eggs, homemade bread, pies and desserts! What more could a person ask for!
When you walk into the diner, you can believe that they support those who served our amazing country. On the wall there is a place full of names. So many veterans names, I am sure you'd be able to find a person you recognize. To see that makes me think that those folks who stepped foot in that door felt like they were more than appreciated on this earth and welcomed in with warmth.
Back in 2017, Mark and Becky bought this building on Main Street Osage. Becky had a long time dream to have a diner and cafe of her own. Mark and Becky chased that dream and started renovating. They put in a commercial kitchen so they could keep up with their customer orders and bake her desserts, pies and homemade breads for customers to purchase. Not only can you get homemade goodies baked by Becky, but you can come in and rent the place out for private birthday parties, baby or bridal showers and more. They will be glad to do any catering as well!
One thing Mark said that they're proud of is the friendly atmosphere. People can come in with their families and hang out as long as they'd like. People of the town will also come in just to have a cup of coffee, read the paper, relax and meet up with old friends.
With business, always comes struggles. A small town cafe like theirs faces slow times and moments like COVID challenged them. As an entrepreneur they were dedicated to their business. And one thing about that is you are married to a business. On any off time you are thinking about what you can do next. Through that, they pushed through to make sure they could keep the doors open.
