Keeping Conveniences Local

In such a rushed world, we have access to items we need by the click of a button. But when it comes to a special service, you can't just get that on your phone. You need to know who to call and know they can get you what you need.

Threads local boutique off main street used to be the source for locals looking for their formal wear. When they decided to go a different direction, they wanted to find someone local to take over that service. Kayla is local to New Hampton, loves planning parties, enjoys working with the community and wanted to find a way to provide a service to the community to show her appreciation for all the love they have been given. "I know this sounds silly, but the community has always been there for my family and myself my entire life, and if this small thing can "give back" in a way, then it's definitely worth it."

Kayla decided to take on this opportunity and is starting to get the ball rolling. With so much support from the community she was able to provide tuxes recently for some of the New Hampton prom attendees. I was able to stop in when a few of the young men were picking up their tuxes. It was fun to see Kayla invite people into her home and send these men off with their tuxes making sure they fit well before their Saturday prom.

Kayla can offer any formal wear for men and women. This can be for events such as weddings, prom, homecoming, galas, quinceañera, or anything else! In her home she's got a spot for customers to come in, look at color swatches, see what items she can offer, try their formal wear on and assist with any changes that may need to be made. In ease to getting your items on time, she wants to be sure your returns are just as easy. Kayla has such a personable character and will go out of her way to make sure your process comes with ease. And limiting travel to get that local service is one of those luxuries!

Being new to this industry, Kayla is learning all of the ins and outs of the business. She realizes there is so much more to just ordering a tux. Every person is built different, sizes are not the same as your basic clothing wear and quick turn arounds for new items are high importance. With any new journey, there's learning curves. Kayla is willing to face those challenges and wants to be a part of your special day when picking out and ordering your attire.

One thing Kayla has enjoyed so far is the flexibility it has been for her busy family that includes FOUR boys. When you stop in, don't be shy of the boys asking some silly questions! They love to see you stop in!

Notes from Taylor:

Thank you for stopping in to read another one of my local business blogs. My goal is to keep providing an advertising service for businesses and a positive news story for the community. I want to bring connection and meaning so we can bring back more local shopping. If you know of anybody you'd love to see a part of this blog send them my way!

I focus on providing marketing content such as photos for businesses and this is a great little perk to that service!
